When will government stop trying to starve people to death and destroy their home, when these people are victims of a corrupt system that seems to be designed to destroy people more than it values to build them up.

Talking with congress

I have been in talks with the office of Jefferson Shreve on 01/16/26 I called and talked with Mr. Shreve's assistant and voiced the concerns of all these hard working people trying to provide for their families that are now being crushed by this new tax law that took effect on January 1st 2026 making hand payouts to go from 1200 to 2000 dollars, as this was a good idea to help patrons win more money it crippled the amount of hand payouts and that is the only way these workers made their income. Almost 70% of the income that they have been able raise their families with and retire on now gone washed away like they didn't even matter to the community and that is wrong. to have these families destroyed so that gambler's can line their pockets with more winnings!

We are here to express our outrage in the change of the Federal tax law concerning people who win at a casino. the slot attendants at the horseshoe casino equal around 33 that's 33 lives that have lost 70% of their income that's 33 homes to be lost and not to count all the mouths these homes feed. We need Congress to help all these families that have done nothing wrong and they have not broken any laws yet they are going to have to suffer and lose everything just so the majority of gamblers can keep more of their winnings. People wonder why so many are rebelling against the system is because it is broken and the hard working people are being taken advantage of by the system. This is what happens when we are all so divided because of the system, and I am tired of watching families suffer for nothing so I'm going to fight for you and I have already been on the phone with Congressman Jefferson Shreve office and had a long discussion about this tragedy that is destroying theses workers their homes and their families and I will not sit silently I will fight to stop this insanity and to help bring back fair wages for all workers and their families!

They say our government is not tyrannical but here it is able to take away 70% of a persons income at the swipe of a pen, hmm sounds a little tyrannical to me how is this even possible? The government should never hold that kind of power over your life, but the fact is that they do have that kind of power over all of us, and that is wrong we the people are the power not the government! So lets stand up my brother's my sisiter"s let's stand together against this over reach of government and abuse of power!
